UNAltered Bootable ISO Dell OEM Image-> 2.71GB
This is an exact copy of my bootable Dell OEM disk that just came with my Brand New Dell XPS Laptop as shown in the photo. It is a CLEAN copy of Windows Vista Ultimate 32Bit, Dell Version OEM and nothing has been added or removed. ON newer DELL COMPUTERS (which came preinstalled w Vista), it does not need a key during installation or after and it is self activating online>>> A TRUE DELL OEM COPY. The image copy was made with UltraISO.
You must perform a clean install with this disk.
This is an Dell OEM version of Windows Vista Ultimate 32Bit. No serial or activation is needed on Dell Computers. This installs properly on Dell Computers that came pre-installed w/ Vista or on Dell PC's w/ SLP 2.0 (System Locked Preinstallation) compatible BIOS. On non-Dell computers,or on Dell PC's that don't have the SLP 2.0 compatible BIOS, you must enter a valid key or serial, or use a crack/patch available at this forum.
You will be able get all Windows Updates without the need of a crack or patch. You will also be able to use all Microsoft software that require the WGA check and valid serial verification. You can always use one of the numerous "key finders" available to find your actual "key" after installation.
Use ImgBurn, CD burner XP, Nero, UltraISO, etc., to burn the ISO to DVD. I prefer ImgBurn to ensure high quality, file integrity and bootability with it's "Verify" function during the burn process.
I used winrar, split into 16 parts, ~191MB's ea., except for last 1. Included 5% recovery record in each rar file for any type download/corruption error.
I ripped my Dell oem disk w/ UltraISO. I ripped it w/ ImgBurn (Freeware)- but lowered the default read to 8x. I ripped it w/ DAEMON Tools Lite 4.30.1 (Freeware). All 3 iso images were exact copies and this is the value for all of the iso files:
After you download all the files and join them w WinRAR, run the Hash utility and compare to the values above. If the values are not exactly the same, your downloads or extraction are the problem. And it most likely will not install properly.

There are numerous md5 sum calculators, but I like 2 very small utilities which verify the md5 value-
The simplest I have found is Hash v1.04. It quickly calculates the md5 and crc32. Just drag the .exe to your desktop, click on it, point it to the iso/image file and off it goes.
Hash 1.04-- 15kb

The second is winMD5Sum. Very small again, quick install and away you go. Again, point it at the iso and it quickly calculates the MD5 sum.
winMD5SUM--154 kb

This has been downloaded and tested and is working perfectly. Just download the 20 parts from Rapidshare or FileFactory, join w/ HJSplit or WinRAR, depending on the file extension, burn to disk as an ISO. Or download the single ISO file from MegaShares.
If the motherboard?s BIOS does not support SLP 2.0 (SLIC and Windows Marker) this OEM version of Vista will not install properly on your Dell. It must have been manufactured in the last 2-3 years or have come pre-installed w/ Vista on a Dell System.
HOW TO USE HJSPLIT----For use w/ Files ending in .iso.001, iso.002 etc.
1. Save files to same folder/file or desktop
2. Open HJSplit
3. Click on "Join"
4. Select/choose file #1
5. Click on "Start"
6. You have your ISO!!!

Use ImgBurn, Daemon Tools, Nero, UltraISO, etc., to burn the ISO to DVD. I prefer ImgBurn to ensure high quality, file integrity and bootabiltiy with it's "Verify" function during the burn process. But DAEMON Tools Lite (freeware)is a really cool iso/image burning/--reading/image maker w/ Virtual Drives- similar to Alcohol 120%.
There are numerous md5 sum utilities which verify the md5 value, but the 2 below are simple, small and fast!!!!!!
The simplest I have found is Hash v1.04. It quickly calculates the md5 and crc32. Just drag the .exe to your desktop, click on it, point it to the iso/image file and off it goes. After you rejoin the files w/ hjsplit or winrar, use one of these to get the md5 value, to ensure your download wasn't corrupt and that you're using a perfect copy of my disk.
Hash v.1.04-- 15.2kb

I should have posted these sooner and I aplogize. With this large a download and so many parts (20), it is easy to get a corrupt .iso. Download managers, your ISP, pauses, resumes, etc., can all mess up this large a file that has to be rejoined.
NEW RAPIDSHARE 200MB .rar archive Links- 26 Oct 2008. The first 20 are 200731 KB. 21 is 121482 KB. Each .rar archive includes a 1% recovery record.
