Digimoto is a software application that uses a elm interface to talk to your vehicle. It is an application that is used primarily to assist in vehicle diagnostics (reading sensors, clearing error codes), but also offers many other valuable tools. It can also be used to measure vehicle performance and the state of your vehicle's systems at any given point in time.
We are compatible with the ISO15765-4 (CAN), ISO14230-4 (KWP2000), ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW and the J1850 PWM protocols.
These programs run on a PC and communicate with the interface. They will run on most computers which have a serial port. (Some PCs only have USB ports, but you may be able to use a USB/serial convertor cable) The programs can also run in a "simulated" mode even if there is no serial port, interface, or vehicle attached. This allows you to examine the program or learn how it works. The programs are free, and they are full versions, not Demos; they will work with BR interfaces.

* Pending trouble codes: These are similar to normal trouble codes, but they are set after a single driving cycle, and usually before the check engine light is illuminated. Useful after repair work has been finished.
* Clear function; Requests vehicle to clear its diagnostic trouble codes, on board test results, and freeze frame data.
* DataLogger; Optionally records and reads back most raw data on disk drive.
o Timetag option to periodically insert computer time into data stream.
o Place Markers can be inserted into file to facilitate locating the same position later.
o Playback functions: Sequential (single step or continuous), Jump to record numbers or place markers, rewind.
* Printout; Option to send most data to the default system printer.
* Mileage monitor; Computes miles per gallon (instantaneous and averaged) as well as cumulative fuel used and distance travelled. Currently calibrated for gasoline engines only.
* Simulate mode; Runs without interface attached. Useful to explore and become familiar with the program.
PCMSCAN is a fully featured generic OBD-II scanner and diagnostic tool that supports a wide variety of OBD-II hardware interfaces. It allows viewing, charting, logging and playback of diagnostic data in real time via the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic data port. It also allows viewing of vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's), Freeze Frame data, and other vehicle information.

Supported OBD-II protocols: SAE-J1850 (PWM and VPW), ISO-9141, ISO-14230 (KWP2000), and ISO-15765 (CAN).
*1996 is the year the OBD-II system was standardized for passenger vehicles sold in the United States. In Europe, this was standardized in 2001 for gasoline vehicles and 2004 for diesel passenger cars. Please verify that your vehicle is OBD compliant before purchasing.
